Spam Review and Moderation for Telegram

When the moderation queue is enabled, incoming join requests and member reports can appear alongside messages flagged by its current spam checks. A member can use /report as a reply to a message to bring it to moderator attention.

Understand the current spam signals

The queue can flag links or channel forwards from members with a recorded join in the previous 24 hours, as well as identical message text that already appeared at least three times in the previous ten minutes. These signals help with triage; they do not prove that an account is a bot.

Review first, automate selectively

Queue items wait for a moderator by default. If it suits your rules, opt in to delete a flagged new-member link or mute a member after the configured report threshold. Automatic actions depend on the bot's Telegram administrator permissions.

Keep a decision trail

Review the reported or flagged item and the member context before resolving it. Use a consistent rule for similar cases, and make sure members know how to report a message that needs moderator attention.
