How the Leaderboard Works

The ranking displays members in your group by gamification points, making participation easier to compare over time.

Viewing the Leaderboard

• Dashboard -- view rankings from Tools > Gamification.
• Filters -- choose a date range and filter by action type.
• Telegram publication -- Metricgram can publish rankings automatically when enabled.

Leaderboard Types

• Period points -- points earned in the selected date range.
• Total points -- accumulated historical points.
• Action filters -- messages, reactions, streaks, daily activity, or extra points.

The bot can publish rankings automatically:

• Weekly
• Monthly
• Quarterly

Members Checking Their Own Points

Members can type /mypoints in the group, or send the same command to @metric_gram_bot in a private chat. In the group, the answer appears in the group conversation; in a private chat, only the member sees it. A member in several groups chooses a group in the private chat and sees their points for this week, this month and in total. Group admins do not earn points, so the command does not show points for them.

Customization

• Destination -- general channel or a specific topic.
• Send time -- based on your account timezone.
• Extra points -- manually grant points from this screen when needed.

Tips

• Weekly rankings are useful for short competitions because everyone starts from the same period window.
• Use extra points for contests or contributions that Metricgram cannot detect automatically.
