Payments and Access Automation

Payments are processed by Stripe. Metricgram focuses on subscription status, subscriber linking, invitations, and Telegram access automation.

Payment handling

Use the Stripe dashboard for:

• Payments and payment history.
• Refunds and disputes.
• Invoices and receipt emails.
• Payouts and bank details.
• Tax and billing settings.

Metricgram receives Stripe Connect webhook updates for subscription creation, updates, cancellations, and customer email changes.

Subscriber settings

In Subscriber settings, you can configure:

• Which recurring Stripe products are managed for the group.
• Automatic email invitations for new unlinked subscribers.
• Email templates for group invitations and existing subscriber linking.
• Whether to remove members when a subscription expires.
• Grace period days before removal.
• Telegram notices to subscribers and the group owner 7, 3, or 1 days before expiration.

Access removal

If removal on expiration is enabled, Metricgram checks inactive subscriptions and removes the linked Telegram user after the grace period, unless that same user still has another active subscription for the group.

Whitelist exceptions

The Whitelist lets a member stay in one group without a covering Stripe subscription. Add existing members from Members > actions > Add to whitelist, or tick Add these people to the whitelist when inviting them by email. Set a reason, an optional note and an optional end date. No end date means indefinite protection. A dated entry stays valid through that whole day in the owner's time zone.

After the entry expires, the next automatic check removes the member if removal on expiration is enabled and no subscription or subscription grace period covers access, including members who never had a Stripe subscription. If automatic removal is disabled or subscription access still applies, they stay. Owners and administrators are protected. Removing an entry restores the usual subscription access rules and does not immediately expel the member.

Note: Refunds or payment changes made in Stripe do not become a separate Metricgram payments screen. Metricgram reacts to the subscription status received from Stripe.
